Professional Experience

Cherry is a Principal Consultant with The Oxford Group, and has international experience in leadership and management development, change management, coaching, and HR development.

Before joining The Oxford Group, Cherry was European HR and Learning & Development Manager for Silicon Graphics Computer Systems Inc, responsible for HR and leadership and organisation development across 14 countries, and covered the role of European HR Director for a year. Cherry led a successful pan-European Transformation programme and in her final year was voted Exemplary Leader for Europe for representing the organisation's values in the way she worked.

Cherry was previously International Manager with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and HR Manager for a major international charity, so has experience of both commercial and not-for-profit organisations.

Cherry has written a book Managing for the First Time (CIPD 2000), and is an Editorial Advisory Board member for People Management journal.
