"Chris operates from her home base in the West Country, where her therapy includes film, theatre, weekends with a sailing enthusiast husband, and two teenage daughters - whose musical tastes, ability to cope with an astonishing range of electronic stimuli at the same time and manic social lives she occasionally manages to grasp. Chris knows the Great Western route into Paddington, and the better M5 and M4 service stations, extremely well!"

Professional Experience

Professional Experience During a 20 year career spanning senior consultancy and line HR/Management Development roles within major organizations such as British Airways, HayGroup, GrandMet and Guinness, Chris continues to be engaged with, and hugely inspired by, people's often hidden or unrecognised ability to break through barriers to success and realize their full potential, to the great benefit of their organisations.

Chris’s work has included periods as People Development Director of a fast-growing marketing organisation, Employee Relations Manager and subsequently HR Director of a facilities and services management company, and Head of Personnel and subsequently Group Management Development Manager of Guinness PLC. As leader of the headquarters HR Change Team covering the merger of Guinness and GrandMet to form Diageo, she worked with The Oxford Group as its main client.

Her passion for developing people personally and collectively around new organisation possibilities has led to consulting projects with GE Healthcare, Diageo, GlaxoSmithKline, MHRA, Animal Health, Barclays, Harvey Nichols, Ofgem, Marks & Spencer, The Environment Agency and UNHCR, generally around major themes of Change, Leadership, Talent Management, and Performance Assessment and Development. Chris personally delivers a number of management and skills training workshops such as Gaining Influence and Managing Teams in support of strategic performance improvement programmes.

Chris heads up The Oxford Group's Organisation Development Consulting Practice.
