Nigel Purse

Nigel lives in Oxford where he is an expert on the city's bars and restaurants. He is an enthusiastic (if not competent) cook and squash player. Another passion is restoring and riding Italian motorcycles when weather and time allow.

Professional Experience

Nigel founded The Oxford Group in 1987 following a career in HR with the Mars Corporation and Burmah Oil. He continues to work full time within the group supporting colleagues in developing and delivering innovative learning solutions for major clients.

He has designed and delivered hundreds of successful learning interventions for managers at all levels in business life and is currently leading a major project within The Oxford Group to ensure that the latest technology is exploited effectively in the design of learning solutions for major clients.

He designed and commissioned The Oxford Group’s on-line coaching and Learning Log support system and has personally designed and delivered a range of web-based training courses, The Oxford Group’s own Self and 360 degree assessment tool and a range of team strength inventories and other surveys.
