Team Coaching

By working with senior teams, and often in parallel with coaching team leaders, The Oxford Group helps to build effective relationships and a better understanding of the dynamics, characteristics and problem-solving capabilities within the team.

The team coach uses a variety of techniques. For example, by shadowing a real team meeting, a coach will gain insight into the team dynamics. And by working at both the level of the team dynamic and with individual members, the coach will be empowered to mediate in conflicts between members to give more accurate feedback.

 

The result is that team members gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their colleagues, and the impact they have on other teams. There is a clearer positioning of the team within the wider context, as well as improved action planning at both an individual and collective level.
