For too long, too many topics that should be discussed were avoided at the Cards Division of Moonpig Group plc, since everyone at the organisation, and at its sister company, Greetz in the Netherlands, newly assimilated in the culture, was just ‘too nice’. The broad undercurrent of feelings was that staff and managers believed difficult topics were, by definition, negative, aggressive, and best avoided.
This programme changed perceptions by demonstrating the beneficial business and personal outcomes to be gained all round once people are empowered to be a little braver.
