Drawing from his experience working for Fortune 500 companies and as an entrepreneur, Amit is adept at developing learners’ business insights. As a facilitator, he uses stories and simulation exercises to make learning interesting, applicable and personal.

Business background

Amit started his career in FMCG with a four-year stint at GSK and Cargill Foods, as Sales Manager. After his MBA, Amit joined HPCL, Mumbai where he was part of the cross-functional Corporate Profitability Group. He was trained by Dr David Norton (Balanced Scorecard) in strategy design and implementation.

Following his MDP at IIM, Amit moved to Nigeria with Olam International. He founded the dairy business and created a successful distribution network for a market of 130m people.

After five years in Africa, he started QEF Travel Pvt, a platform that leverages crowd-sourcing tools to deliver value to both customers and vendors. Amit also runs College to Company, a start-up focussed on skills development for graduate engineers and MBAs.
