John combines a professional background as a business executive with a coaching style honed in a world-class business school. This combination of practical leadership experience and cutting-edge leadership development methodologies makes him an ideal coach for the modern leader.
As a chartered accountant with KPMG, John was a director in charge of corporate restructuring and business recovery. An invited move into industry gave him global experience as functional head in finance, operations and commercial roles. He played lead roles in the restructuring of multiple global business units for a group in preparation for a public listing and following sale for £1.5b.
He subsequently led a management buyout of an engineering and contracting company and became CEO of the African division. Upon disposal of his shareholding, he became a consultant, and advised and supported leadership teams in setting up in foreign environments.
